This year, Seaman Schools introduced a new learning management system called Schoology at all grade levels. Teachers and students have been using this digital learning management tool since August to organize content, engage students and now we’re ready to connect to families.
On January 5, all parents will have the ability to create a Schoology account and connect with their child’s day-to-day classroom activity. Parents will be able to view student calendars and see due dates, view assignments, download class documents, check assignment grades, follow their student’s participation in online discussions, connect with teachers, and a lot more. With a Facebook-style feed of recent activity related to courses, groups, and school on the Schoology homepage, parent users can easily stay up to date.
