83 Seaman High School freshman students recently published a research journal featuring essays varying from cars to mental health to time travel. The essays are from the students’ “Genius Hour” projects where they chose a topic they wanted to learn more about and presented their research to peers and guests.
We'll be expanding our 2nd chance breakfast to the freshman area, beginning January 7.
New this school year, all Seaman High School juniors will be able to take the ACT test on February 20, 2019 and the WorkKeys assessment on February 21, 2019 during the school day--for free! Also, (this year only) seniors who have not taken the ACT yet may also take advantage of these free options.
Congratulations to Assistant Principal Lee Schmidt for receiving the Kansas Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (KAHPERD) Administrator Award for his support of physical education in school!
Cold and Flu season is upon us. It is important for children to attend school, but when a child is truly sick, they need to stay home to get well and prevent spreading illness to others. Please help us keep our students and staff healthy by reviewing the following illness prevention strategies.
Cole King has been named a Commended Student in a 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. A Letter of Commendation from the school and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program will be presented by the principal to this scholastically talented senior.
