83 Seaman High School freshman students recently published a research journal featuring essays varying from cars to mental health to time travel. The essays are from the students’ “Genius Hour” projects where they chose a topic they wanted to learn more about and presented their research to peers and guests.
The Topeka Chapter of the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers (KSPE) named Rebecca Unruh as the 2018-19 Outstanding Teacher at the elementary level.
Seaman Middle School Educator Garret Platt was named a 2019 Kansas Horizon Award winner. This Kansas Department of Education program identifies and recognizes exemplary first-year teachers who perform in a way that distinguishes them as outstanding.
Dr. Steve Noble, Superintendent of Seaman Schools, was announced as a finalist for the 2019 KSSA Superintendent of the Year.
