Learning Without Limits

Retirees
The board recognized 2021-22 retirees during the Learning Without Limits section of the agenda. Each retiree received a lifetime athletic/activity pass for USD 345 events. Below is a list of this year's retirements.

Band

On March 30th, six ensembles within the Seaman High School Band Department traveled to Winter Park, Colorado for the “Winter Park Ski-Music Festival”. Various schools from all over the Midwest were in attendance for this national competition. Students not only participated in the competition and adjudication, but also were able to enjoy the slopes!

Superintendent Remarks

Dr. Noble highlighted the Learning Without Limits section of the board and thanked staff for attending these recognition events to help showcase our student achievements. He also thanked parents, staff, and the board for their support.

Dr. Noble previewed the Kansas Communities that Care survey discussion for the evening. "You're going to see some data tonight that I think is going to garner our attention in how we move forward," said Noble.

President Remarks

Frank Henderson reflected on the school year and highlighted the accomplishments and strides the district was able to make amidst the challenges of the pandemic and other factors. "It's been a challenging year, it's been a full year, but I can't say enough good things about our students and about our staff," said Henderson.

    Next 345 Board of Education Meeting

    The next regularly scheduled board meeting will take place on June 13. It is scheduled to start at 6:00 pm.

    Regular board meetings are scheduled on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 pm, with the exception of March, which will be held on the third Monday. Regular meetings may be adjourned to another time and place when necessary. Special meetings may also be scheduled on an as-needed basis. 

    Regular meetings typically take place at the Seaman Education Center. When meeting locations change, notice is sent out to the public and made available online. Board agendas go live on the Friday afternoon prior to the regular board meeting. 

    All regular meetings are streamed live and available on the district's YouTube Channel. A recap of the meeting is also made available through the Board Digest

    Both in-person and digital public comment are accepted at regular board meetings. The public comment agenda item may be found in the meeting agenda
