Students and Community Come Together for a STEM Fair
Posted on 04/29/2026
A day of curiosity and creativity was recently held at the Logan Elementary STEM Fair, where students and community partners came together for learning in action. While student-designed projects filled the gym with scientific investigations, the event offered much more than a traditional student showcase.

Community volunteers brought STEM to life with professionals from a variety of fields sharing their expertise through interactive demonstrations and presentations, giving students a firsthand look at how science, technology, engineering, and math are used every day. Hands-on stations allowed students to experiment, build, and explore.

The fair also served as an introduction to future possibilities. Volunteers took time to talk with students about their careers and the many pathways STEM can offer. These interactions helped students see connections between what they are learning in school and opportunities beyond the classroom.

By combining student creativity with real-world experiences and mentorship, the event inspired students to think bigger, explore deeper, and imagine what their futures might hold.
