Project Based Learning

PBL
Project based learning is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge. (PBLWorks).

In Seaman Schools, we promote learning by doing through the integration of project based learning. By solving complex, real-world problems, students are making connections between their content and community. Project based learning goes beyond content standards to encompass life skills such as collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. The innovation and teaching and learning departments support teachers in continuing to make project based learning experiences a priority for our students.
