Mr. Jeff Pierce
Mr. Pierce is in his 6th year teaching in the Seaman School District He teaches 9th grade Modern World History. This is his 15th year overall teaching. He has previously taught 8th grade U.S. History at Washburn Rural Middle School where he was also the middle school head cross country and track coach and an assistant basketball coach at the high school. Mr. Pierce is currently a boys basketball assistant coach (JV head coach) and was an assistant for the cross country team at Seaman High School for four years. He received his Master's Degree in Educational Administration with an empasis in Building Leadership from Washburn University in 2008 and a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education and minor in Geography from Kansas State University in 2003. Mr. Pierce and his wife, Keelin, have two daughters, Kennedy (6) and Kallie (4) and child on the way due in February. His wife is the Head Principal at Whitson Elementary in USD 501 and he has many teachers in his family. His daughters love playing with their black lab, Belle, and running around their bid yard. In his spare time he likes to run, play basketball, work in his yard, and hang out with his family.
