Mr. Ryan Bach
This will be my third year teaching, and first at Seaman High School. For the past two years, I taught 7-8 Social Studies at Wabaunsee Junior High in Paxico, KS. This year, I will be teaching Government, Current Social Issues, Race and Ethnic Relations, and Civil and Criminal Rights. I am extremely excited for the opportunity and eager to get started.
I was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from Mission Viejo High School in 2008. I continued my education at CSU Sacramento, where I graduated with a BA in 2012. After my wife and I graduated from our undergraduate programs, we chose to move to Kansas to pursue graduate studies at K-State. I finished up an MA in History in the spring of 2015 while also being enrolled in a Secondary Social Studies licensure program at Emporia State University. My wife completed veterinary school at K-State in 2016 and practices here in North Topeka.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Carly, and our pets, as well as family and friends. My hobbies include reading, keeping up with historical scholarship, attending concerts, playing sports (lacrosse, softball), and cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
