We’re excited to announce Steve Bushnell as the new Seaman High School Athletic Director, effective next school year.

Mr. Bushnell has served Seaman School District for the last 29 years as a middle school physical education teacher and has coached our teams in many different capacities. As most of you are aware, Mr. Bushnell has nine state championships and has earned the American Baseball Coaches Association National Coach of the Year award. Mr. Bushnell has proven himself to be a skilled and effective leader who understands, supports, and advances the mission, values, and vision of athletics in the Seaman School District and we look forward to his future work on behalf of our students and the Seaman High School Viking Athletics Department.

Mr. Bushnell will be replacing Mr. Dietz who will be retiring at the end of this school year. Mr. Dietz has been with Seaman School District for 42 years and has helped build a strong and successful athletic department. Mr. Dietz is recognized today and will remain a leader among colleagues throughout the state.

We thank Mr. Dietz for his exemplary years at Seaman High School and look forward to seeing athletics continue to thrive under Mr. Bushnell’s leadership. Our programs and students will no doubt reflect his ambition, passion, integrity, and values.
