KTOY Visits Seaman School District

Members of the Kansas Teachers of the Year (KTOY) visited USD 345 today for a tour of our district, hosted by our very own KTOY Kate Talley. The group kicked off their morning at Seaman High School with breakfast and caffeinated drinks prepared by our talented culinary students and Viking Brew.

During their visit, the Kansas Teachers of the Year had the opportunity to see our Excellence is Earned program in action. They even joined us in delivering an award, giving them a firsthand look at how our peer recognition program celebrates staff members who demonstrate a commitment to excellence across the district.

The group also visited Day on the Farm, where they observed high school FFA members leading engaging agricultural lessons for our second graders. Throughout the day, they toured additional classrooms and programs, experiencing the innovative learning and strong relationships that make USD 345 special.

We were proud to showcase the incredible work happening across our district and grateful for the opportunity to spend the day alongside such outstanding educators.
