Important Dates
July 1: Free & reduced applications available 
July 1: SHS parking passes available online 
July 5: 2019-20 online enrollment in PowerSchool opens at noon 
July 30: Walk-in enrollment, 11am-7pm at Seaman Middle School 
July 30: SHS parking passes available for pick up at Seaman High School 
August 5: Last day to enroll for busing on the first day of school 
August 14: First day of school for K-10 
August 15: First day of school for 11-12, PHLC
August 16: High school yearbook signing party at SHS (6:30-8:30 pm) 
August 20: First day of school for preschool

2019-20 online enrollment in PowerSchool opens July 5. You will receive an automated email, inviting you to enroll your child. You can also pay your fees online through the Seaman webstore.  Call the tech department at 785-286-8483 if you need your login info. If you do not receive an email by noon on July 5, please call the tech department at 785-286-8483. There will be a link to the Seaman webstore at the end of the enrollment email.

 If you complete online enrollment and have paid your fees online, there is no need to attend the walk-in enrollment. Walk-in enrollment will be held on July 30, 11am-7pm at Seaman Middle School.

Free/Reduced Meal Info
Automatic eligibility (Direct Certification) for free Child Nutrition Program benefits to students who are already eligible to received Food Assistance (FA), Temporary Assistance to Families (TAF), or Foster Children. Letters will be mailed from Seaman Food Service to eligible households in July. Households receiving this Direct Certification letter do not need to fill out a paper application. Households receiving the letter for Direct Certification have the right to decline the benefits. 

After July 2, households that do not qualify for Free Meals through the Direct Certification process can use the application process to apply. The application will be available after July 1 online. The application must be filled out completely and turned into the Seaman Food Service Department to be processed. Households will be notified of eligibility. Incomplete applications cannot be approved.

Out-of-District Enrollment
Out-of-district students may be admitted to the extent that staff, facilities, equipment, and supplies are available. Please view the BOE policy in the link below for more information.

Application for Transfer & Statement of Understanding & Acceptance 
Your child's birth certificate Kansas Statute #72-53,106 (Proof of Identity)

*New to the district students include any family that has never had a student attend a USD 345 school, or students that attended but left before the end of the last school year. Progression to the next school not included.
