Seaman High School Students Publish Research Journal
83 Seaman High School freshman students recently published a research journal featuring essays varying from cars to mental health to time travel. The essays are from the students’ “Genius Hour” projects where they chose a topic they wanted to learn more about and presented their research to peers and guests.

February Parent-Teacher Conferences
February parent-teacher conferences will be scheduled with your child’s seminar teacher for student-led conferences. This new opportunity assists our students in developing interpersonal and intrapersonal skills essential for post-secondary success. It is also an opportunity for us, the adults, to listen to their reflections on their school experience.

Free ACT Test WorkKeys Assessment
New this school year, all Seaman High School juniors will be able to take the ACT test on February 20, 2019 and the WorkKeys assessment on February 21, 2019 during the school day--for free! Also, (this year only) seniors who have not taken the ACT yet may also take advantage of these free options.

Brad LeDuc of the Seaman School District has been named the Outstanding Secondary Art Educator of the Year 2018-2019. The Kansas Art Education Association (KAEA) will officially present the award at its fall conference on October 12th in Rock Springs, Kansas.
