Looking for Special Patriots

The Seaman High School Historical Society (SHSHS) needs help identifying all Vikings who served in one of the branches of our military.  To date, SHSHS has been able to identify around 630 Vikings who have served or are presently serving. This information is in a database that can be viewed on a computer in the SHSHS Museum & Archives. If you know of a USD 345 alum who has served or is serving his or her country, please contact SHSHS with the following information:
• First name, middle initial, maiden name, last name
• Year graduated, branch of service, highest rank earned, actual years served
• Any additional information (i.e. experiences, stories, special military awards, medals, ribbons, etc.)
“We have collected some really great and amazing stories,” said SHSHS Board Member Joe Maxwell. “We include one of these special stories in each issue of the SHSHS Viking Newsletter. Our  goal is to identify 750 special patriots by the end of 2017.”
The SHSHS Museum & Archives is located in the Seaman Education Center (3rd Floor), 901 NW Lyman Rd
