Seaman School District is proud to announce Brad Jones as the new Principal of Seaman High School, effective July 29, 2024. With over two decades of experience in education and a passion for fostering positive school culture, Mr. Jones brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the Viking community.
Having served in various educational leadership roles over the past 24 years, Mr. Jones brings a unique perspective and invaluable leadership skills focused on support for both students and staff while firmly believing in the correlation between a positive school culture and academic success.
One of Mr. Jones’s key focuses is staff retention and development. Through his collaborative leadership approach, he has successfully implemented initiatives that have reduced staff turnover rates and increased overall job satisfaction. Mr. Jones understands the importance of investing in education and providing staff with ongoing support and opportunities for growth. Mr. Jones’s leadership style is characterized by collaboration, inclusivity, and empowerment. He values clear and open communication and is committed to fostering meaningful relationships with students, staff, parents and the community.

In addition to his expertise in building positive school culture and supporting staff, Mr. Jones brings a strong record of academic excellence and administrative effectiveness to Seaman High School, aligned with the district’s vision and goals.

Mr. Jones has held various administrative level positions at Emporia USD 253, Oskaloosa USD 341, and Fort Worth Country Day in Fort Worth, TX.
