* Half of our kindergartners will have their first day on August 14, the other half will be on August 15. Your school will let you know which first day is assigned to your kindergartner. 

Online Enrollment
Online enrollment in PowerSchool opens July 8. You will receive an automated email, inviting you to enroll your child. You can pay your fees online through the Seaman webstore. Call the tech department at 785-286-8483 if you need your login info. There will be a link to the Seaman webstore at the end of the enrollment email to pay fees.

If you complete online enrollment and have paid your fees online, there is no need to attend the walk-in enrollment. Walk-in enrollment will be held on July 30, 3:00-7:00 pm at Seaman Middle School.

Free/Reduced Meal and Fee Info
Direct Certification Letters will be mailed from Seaman Food Service to eligible households in July. Households receiving this letter do not need to fill out a Free & Reduced paper application. Households receiving the letter for Direct Certification have the right to decline the benefits. 

The Free and Reduced Application will not be available until after July 1st, 2024. The application will be available online. All students will be considered full price until a completed application is received and approved by Nutrition Services staff unless direct certified.

In-District Elementary Transfer Requests
Applications are accepted between January 1 and April 30. Consideration criteria include: the student’s grades, attendance, conduct and class size at the requested school. Students cannot have outstanding school fees or food service balances. Applications may be approved to the extent that staff, facilities, equipment and supplies are available. These criteria will be reviewed annually. If a student is no longer deemed to be in good standing at the transfer school, a student may be denied continued attendance at the transfer school. The student would then be required to attend their resident home school.
