Last year, Seaman School District was one of only seven school districts in the state of Kansas to receive five Kansans Can Star Recognition awards. Only four districts in the state received more than five awards.
This year, Seaman Schools received SIX Kansans Can Star Recognition awards! These Kansas State Department of Education awards recognize the exceptional work our district has done to reach the state’s vision for education.
Seaman USD 345 received the following recognition for 2022:

- Kindergarten Readiness
- Individual Plan of Study
- Civic Engagement
- Academically Prepared for Graduation
- Postsecondary Effectiveness
