Superintendent Remarks

The Seaman Community is mourning the loss of Ann Minihan, past USD 345 Board Member from 1977-2009, and pillar of the Seaman community. Mr. Willson took a moment to remember and celebrate Mrs. Minihan for her dedication to the Seaman Community during his superintendent remarks. "Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity or pleasure to meet Mrs. Minihan but I have heard nothing but great things about her long standing service to our community," said Willson.

Mr. Willson then opened the floor for board members to share memories and read a few remarks submitted by employees and past employees. "She had a huge impact on our community over many years and I was proud to be involved in the naming of the USD 345 boardroom being named after her. It is an honor she deeply deserved. It was my honor and privilege to have known and worked with her. Her legacy continues with her wonderful family," said former Superintendent Mike Mathes.
